Free Public Wi-Fi networks are available everywhere in a city. If you go to any restaurant, coffee shop or any public places, you may find free Wi-Fi zone. During traveling you also can find it. It’s good that you can enjoy free internet by it. But did you ask yourself ‘Is public wi-fi safe?’ All of them are not safe at all. So you should be careful.
How to Stay Safe on Public Wi-Fi Zone:
If you become a little bit conscious, you can stay safe on public Wi-Fi. You should know some tricks.
1. Choose Network Wisely:
In any public places, you may find more than one free wi-fi networks. Sometimes these networks name may be similar or so close to each other. You should choose the correct network wisely. Because, hacker may create a free wi-fi zone according to any public place name or brand name. When you access that network, you may become a victim.

Try to avoid using apps in free public Wi-Fi zone. Use browser. Before disconnecting from public Wi-Fi, logout from any services you logged in though that public network.
6. Enable Two Step Authentication:
It is good practice to enable two factor authentication. Alway try to enable it in your facebook, twitter, gmail or any email or social network services. Two Step Authentication represents a strong security.
7. Forget the Network:
After disconnecting from the public wi-fi, delete that network from your device memory. It will make sure that your device won’t connect automatically on that network. Before connecting to public wi-fi, unchecking Connect Automatically is a good practice.
