Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge: Does It Have The Edge From All Phones?

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge: Does It Have The Edge From All Phones?

Contrary to the popular belief, the Galaxy S6 Edge is not just a simple upgrade of its previous predecessors. It’s far more than that. It’s stunned me, actually! If you have read my “About Me” part of this blog, then you will be surprised to learn that though I admire all the latest gadgets, I still have a soft spot for the good ‘ol basic Nokia 3310. While it isn’t the lightest and carries the best performance or specs, it does the job quite well and helps me communicate with family and friends without the flashy things. Plus, no one would be tempted to take it away from me!

But of course, change is inevitable and I have got to let go of it for a better, newer phone for work and college purposes. Fortunately, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge does the trick!

Now, Samsung’s newest addition to the family has me stunned. Not only does it have the sleek, unique design I’ve always wanted on a phone, but it has also got the performance and high resolution to follow! Not only will I be able to effectively communicate with loved ones, but I can also use the phone’s built in applications and features for college, work and play!

Being the first dual curved display smart phone, it truly attracts anyone’s eye. With a curved display and faster performance compared to its competitors, even I would be envious watching a lucky owner using it! Its definitely impressed my family and friends, amusing me and making me an even happier owner of the Edge. Not only does it h

ave an awesome design and greatest performance from any phone I’ve held, but also, the quality of the camera is the absolute best! Clearer selfies with my loved ones, better resolution when capturing moments. Definitely something I need to comment on, as I love taking photos and making sure that they’re clear enough for everyone to admire on.

But as time went on, I noticed that the curved screen was just a design and not much of a wow factor anymore. Actually, it became tricky to hold or use, as the sharp edges can pinch when holding the phone. It’s bearable, but compared to other phones, at least they won’t hurt the palm of your hand! Not only does it pinch the hand, but the wallet, too. With a price of just about $600, it is definitely a splurge.

The battery life, while normal, has always been a problem for Samsung. Playing games wipes the battery out faster than the speed of lightning! But it works well with normal usage. Either way, I recommend bringing a good power bank just in case. And the fact that they have no SD card slot is a bit unfortunate in case I take up all the internal storage of the phone.

    Final Words:

All in all, I am still amazed with Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Edge and would still use it as the performance is great and the camera one of the best, but if I were to choose, I would get a different phone with a slightly cheaper price but a better battery life. And something that doesn’t sting my hand when using it!
